KPop Demon Hunters “Soda Pop” Meaning

Ian Eisendrath, Executive Music Producer for KPop Demon Hunters, revealed in an interview with Tudum that the team aimed to “create one of those super bubblegum-y K-pop boy band songs in the style of a song like ‘Butter’ by BTS.” That vision came to life through “Soda Pop,” the third track on the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack and the debut single of the Saja Boys a K-pop group formed by the demon Jinu to rival HUNTR/X by targeting their biggest weakness: the fans.

To challenge HUNTR/X’s popularity, Jinu assembled four other demons and crafted a song designed to be infectious, catchy, and unforgettable one that would turn the Saja Boys into overnight sensations. Lyrically, “Soda Pop” explores an overwhelming thirst for someone, describing them as “my little lemonade,” with the desire intensifying with every sip.

The track made its mark on the charts, debuting at #49 on the Hot 100 during the tracking week ending July 12, 2025, and climbing to a new peak of #35 the following week.
