The entertainment industry is on alert again with the rising number of infections.

Recently, news of celebrities infected by the virus have been continuously delivered. Especially, even though some celebrities have completed their vaccination but still got infected, raising concerns over an outbreak of the virus in the industry.

On November 24th, BLACKPINK’s Lisa was confirmed to have tested positive for the virus. According to her agency, BLACKPINK has already completed their 2-dose vaccination.

Member Kino of the group Pentagon was confirmed to be infected on November 25th and Beomjun of 2Z on November 27th. Kino and Beomjun also fully completed their vaccination.

On November 27th, actor Ye Ji-won, who is filming KBS1’s new drama “Taejong Lee Bang-won” (translated title), was also tested positive. Accordingly, Ye Ji-won completely canceled her schedule of filming “Taejong Lee Bang-won” and is in self-quarantine.

On November 30th, news of three more confirmed cases were delivered.

Jung Woo-sung also received his second dose of Pfizer but was confirmed with the virus. He attended the 42nd Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 26th, but it was reported that he had no symptoms related to the disease at the time.

Veteran actor Park Jung-ja was also tested positive. Park Jung-ja had also completed her vaccination. In particular, since she is appearing in the musical “Billy Elliott,” the two-day performance schedule of the musical has been canceled as a preemptive measure.
