Korean netizens are shocked to know what Super Junior’s ex-Chinese member Hankyung is doing
Koreans can’t believe their eyes when seeing Hankyung’s different image in his new movie.
Internet users are paying keen attention to the recent appearance of Hankyung, the former Chinese member of Super Junior in the movie “Dynasty Warriors.”
The movie “Dynasty Warriors” is based on a game of the same name. It tells the story of three martial arts warriors, Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei overthrowing the rebellion and save Dong Zhuo, who dominated the imperial palace at the end of the Han Dynasty. Hankyung played the role of Guan Yu.
The actor is called a “starving Guan Yu” by Korean netizens for his skinny appearance, which is quite different from the appearance of Guan Yu we used to know.
In 2005, Hankyung debuted as a member of Super Junior and the leader of the unit Super Junior-M, which gained influence in the Chinese market. He has been active in broadcasting activities between Korea and China, but left Korea in November 2009 after filing a lawsuit against his agency SM Entertainment for termination of the contract.
Since then, Hankyung, who has become one of the most popular stars in China with great success as a singer and actor, is said to be so influential that he is directly involved in management as a shareholder of his agency, Yuehua Entertainment.
