Korean media pointed out the similarity in Seo Ye-ji and Kim Jung-hyun’s process of returning to activities

Actress Seo Ye-ji appeared in public for the first time after one year. From making an early comeback after the “private life” controversy to her recent activities, Seo Ye-ji seems to be carrying out similar moves to that of her ex-lover Kim Jung-hyun. Seo Ye-ji was previously accused of gaslighting and manipulating her ex-boyfriend Kim Jung-hyun. Seo Ye-ji was confirmed to play the male lead role in tvN’s upcoming drama “Eve’s Scandal”. A photo of Seo Ye-ji holding the drama script with other main actors at the script reading was also revealed. The production team of “Eve’s Scandal” shared, “We cast Seo Ye-ji because she is an actress who has a strong image and the energy to immerse herself in the character. She has analyzed the script more thoroughly than anyone else.”

After taking a short break of 7 months, the actress renewed the contract with her agency, Gold Medalist, and announced her comeback in 2022 with “Eve’s Scandal”.
This process is similar to Kim Jung-hyun’s. Shortly after being the center of criticism due to “private life” controversies in relation to Seo Ye-ji, Kim Jung-hyun signed an exclusive contract with Story J Company, signaling active activities.
His first step was joining the company’s Christmas carol project in 2021. This project was designed to convey a special message of hope and support to everyone at the end of 2021. In the music video released December last year, Kim Jung-hyun smiled brightly appearing together with Story J Company’s actors.
After secretly beginning his return with the carol project, Kim Jung-hyun chose an independent film for his comeback. Last January, the actor confirmed his appearance as a detective in the independent film “Se²cret”, which tells about the investigation of a mysterious murder case.
