Kim Yoo-min shared, “I got pregnant while working as a girl group member… I and my ex-husband divorced because of 200,000 won”

Kim Yoo-min, a former member of girl group Rania, told the story of getting pregnant while working as a singer and earning money through Internet broadcasts.

Kim Yoo-min appeared on MBN’s entertainment show “Dongchimi”, which aired on April 23rd, “When I was active as a member of Rania in 2016, I met my ex-husband by chance”, adding, “We dated for about a year and had a child during my idol activities. My ex-husband was an idol senior, and fortunately, he already finished his activities back then”.

She continued, “Working as a girl group member, I had no money on my own. My ex-husband had a small income since he was working at a small company”, adding, “Then we got married 6 months after our child was born”.

Kim Yoo-min added, “In order to make money, I started doing broadcasts on the Internet at the suggestion of my ex-husband”, adding, “I was in my 9th month of pregnancy at that time, but I hid it and did broadcasts. Internet broadcasting went better than I thought. My ex-husband then suddenly thought of quitting his job”.

“I did online broadcasting until dawn then my amniotic fluid suddenly ruptured the next morning so I was taken to the hospital. My ex-husband was not home since he had already gone to work, so my mother and my brother took me to the hospital and I gave birth to my child”, she shared.

Kim Yoo-min explained, “I did online broadcasting even during the time for recovering after giving birth to the baby because I didn’t have money”, adding, “That’s why I did not receive postnatal care. Now, my wrists and ankles still hurt a lot”.

Kim Yoo-min revealed that she gave all the money she earned to her ex-husband. At that time, she felt sorry for her parents and wanted to give them 200,000 won as an allowance. When she suggested that to her husband but he turned around and got angry.

Kim Yoo-min confessed, “Everything didn’t go as planned. He said saving money was important and worried that our parents would ask something like ‘When will you buy a car? or a house?’ if we gave them money”.

When my ex-husband went to work, his mother always cooked all the side dishes for us but he never thanked her.

Kim Yoo-min said, “I stayed at my parents’ house after giving birth to my child. After the fight, my ex-husband did not come to see me anymore. We naturally grew apart and divorced in the end”.
