On the October 12 episode of YouTube channel Fairy Jae-hyung, titled “This video features the most energetic Woo Bin in recent memory,” Kim Woo-bin appeared as a guest on the segment Fairy’s Table and had an open-hearted talk with host Jung Jae-hyung.
During their conversation, Jung Jae-hyung complimented Kim Woo-bin’s physical condition, saying, “You look even healthier now. Is this the same body that used to sleep one hour and work out for two?”

Kim Woo-bin laughed and replied, “It used to be like that, but now I make sure to get enough sleep. I’m much healthier these days because I don’t do anything bad for my body anymore.”
Jung Jae-hyung recalled the difficult time, saying, “I was shocked when I heard the news back then. It turns out you were literally burning yourself out with work.”
Kim Woo-bin admitted that before his illness, he would often sacrifice rest for productivity: “Back then, if I had three hours, I’d sleep for one and spend the other two working out,” he said. “But now I’ll use all three hours to sleep.”

He went on to describe how his recovery changed his mindset: “The time I spent resting gave me only good things. The pain was so intense that I don’t even remember it anymore — and if I can’t remember it, maybe it doesn’t exist in my life anymore.”
His words reflected both resilience and gratitude, resonating deeply with fans who have followed his journey from illness to full recovery.
Since returning to acting, Kim Woo-bin has earned widespread admiration not only for his performances but also for his candid discussions about health and self-care.
After years of pushing himself to the limit, the actor now prioritizes mental peace and physical well-being — a transformation that continues to inspire both colleagues and fans alike.
