Actor Kim Soo-hyun will appear in the new drama “Queen of Tears”.
According to Joy News 24 on Nov 4th, Kim Soo-hyun recently decided to appear in writer Park Ji-eun’s new work “Queen of Tears” (working title).
Earlier in April, it was known that Kim Soo-hyun would appear in “Queen of Tears”, but at the time, his agency denied the rumors, “He didn’t get an official offer. He didn’t even see the script.” It was reported that Kim Soo-hyun recently confirmed his appearance and is coordinating the filming schedule.
“Queen of Tears” is a new work by Park Ji-eun, who penned SBS’ “My Love from the Star”, KBS 2TV’s “The Producers” and tvN’s “Crash Landing on You”. Kim Soo-hyun, who starred in “My Love from the Star” and “The Producers”, will work with writer Park Ji-eun for the third time.
Director Kim Hee-won, who has been recognized for her delicate and excellent directing skills through tvN’s “Little Women”, “Vincenzo”, “The Crowned Clown” and MBC’s “Money Flower”, will take the megaphone.
“Queen of Tears” is a perfect meeting of “writer-director-actor”: writer Park Ji-eun, who created a number of hit works, director Kim Hee-won, who boasts delicate and outstanding directing skills, and Kim Soo-hyun, who renews his best character in every work. Expectations are already rising for their teamwork.
