Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won’s drama “Queen of Tears” will air in December 

The K-drama “Queen of Tears”, which stars Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, will air every Saturday and Sunday starting from December. 

According to a report by Star News on April 13th, Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won‘s upcoming drama “Queen of Tears” has been scheduled to air on Saturdays and Sundays on tvN, starting from December. 

“Queen of Tears” tells the miraculous love story of a couple overcoming a thrilling crisis. The drama, which features Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won as a married couple, is the latest work of Park Ji Eun, who wrote “Crash Landing on You”, “My Love from the Star”, and “The Legend of the Blue Sea”.

In this drama, Kim Soo Hyun will assume the role of Baek Hyun Woo, the pride of Yongduri Village and the legal representative of conglomerate Queens Group. Meanwhile, Kim Ji Won will transform into Hong Hae In, who is known as the “Arrogant Queen” of the Queens Department Store and a third-generation heiress of the Queens Group.

The drama will be directed by Jang Young Woo, who directed “Crash Landing on You” and “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls”, as well as Kim Hee Won, who was behind the success of “Vincenzo” and “Little Women.” 

“Queen of Tears”, which was highly anticipated as a major work in the second half of 2023, is expected to captivate weekend drama viewers with its broadcast on tvN.

A script reading of the K-drama has been held and filming is expected to begin soon.
