Recently, videos and photos of Hwasa and Kim Nam Gil performing “Good Goodbye” together at Yonsei University’s festival quickly spread across online communities and social media platforms.

In the released clips, Kim Nam Gil appeared on stage wearing an oversized jacket and jeans. His tall physique and warm visuals instantly drew attention from the audience. In particular, fans reacted enthusiastically to the actor shyly smiling while standing close to Hwasa and moving along to the music.

During the performance, Kim Nam Gil even performed a spin while matching Hwasa’s choreography. The two stars naturally held hands and exchanged close eye contact throughout the performance, creating a heart-fluttering atmosphere that sent the crowd into a frenzy.

Audience members at the scene were also seen pulling out their phones to record the performance while cheering loudly for the duo.

Online reactions were equally explosive. Netizens commented, “After Park Jung Min and Yoon Kyung Ho, is it Kim Nam Gil’s turn now?”, “Why are actors taking festival stages this seriously?”, “His shy reactions are insane,” and “His proportions and physique are no joke.”

Others jokingly referred to the actor as “rookie singer Kim Nam Gil” and praised his chemistry with Hwasa, saying, “His chemistry with Hwasa is better than expected.”

Hwasa previously created a viral “ex-boyfriend meme” after performing “Good Goodbye” with actor Park Jung Min during the congratulatory stage at the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards last year.

Later, actor Yoon Kyung Ho also parodied the performance with Hwasa during the YouTube program Pinggyego Awards, gaining massive attention for their couple-like stage chemistry.

Earlier this year, Kim Nam Gil officially challenged himself as a singer by releasing the song “Running To You” in March with support from Rocoberry. Since then, he has appeared on programs including tvN’s You Quiz on the Block and KBS2’s The Seasons: Sung Si Kyung’s Ear Candy, attracting attention with his “rookie singer Kim Nam Gil” concept.

Meanwhile, Kim Nam Gil is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming film Canvas of Blood and is also expected to begin filming SBS’s new drama Nightmare soon.
