Singer Kim Jong-guk, 46 years old this year, expressed his thoughts on marriage.
SBS’s “Dolsing Fourmen” which aired on November 23rd, featured Kim Jong-kook and Cha Tae-hyun, who are best friends in the “Dragon Club” (club of Male celebrities born the the year of the dragon).
On the same day, Kim Jong-kook revealed that he was the only single man among the “Dragon Club” members (Kim Jong-kook, Cha Tae-hyun, Jang Hyuk, Hong Kyung-min, and Hong Kyung-in), saying, “They envy me the most.”
Cha Tae-hyun said, “I don’t say that you have to get married. I don’t even recommend it,” he laughed, and Kim Jong-kook said, “Taehyun’s wife doesn’t recommend marriage to me either,” causing laughter.
In the meantime, Cha Tae-hyun said, “In the past, Jong-kook really wanted to get married before he was 40 years old. I even searched up ways to introduce girls to him, but now that he’s at a certain age, he thinks, ‘Do I have to do it?’
In response, with a serious look, Kim Jong-kook said he was told that he had to marry because he would feel lonely when he got older.
Kim Jong-kook declared, “I will get married in my 40s.”
Cha Tae-hyun claimed it was practically impossible, saying “You will be 47 years old next year. You will have to date someone next year immediately because you will date for about 2-3 years considering your personality. This is hard.”
Nevertheless, Kim Jong-kook emphasized that he would get married once again.
He added, “People said many problems might occur between a couple after getting married. I don’t understand. Don’t we just have to do what our wife wants to if we get married?”
Upon hearing this, Kim Joon-ho said, “It’s not going to be easy for you to keep your savings”. Kim Jong-kook answered, “I will never force a woman to do so.”
Lastly, Kim Jong-kook mentioned his ideal type, saying, “I just need one thing. All she has to do is let me work out.”
