Kim Ji-won Purchased a 6.3 Billion Won Building? Agency, “It’s Difficult to Confirm”
“Queen of Tears” leading actress Kim Ji-won has reportedly purchased a building worth 6.4 billion Korean won.
On April 19, Korean media outlets reported that Kim Ji-won purchased a building located on Gangnam-gu, Seoul for 6.3 billion won (approx 4.5 million USD) in June 2021.
The building purchased by Kim Ji-won was completed in 1991 and is reported to have one basement floor and five above-ground floors.
Kim Ji-won, who is the CEO of “Jiwon Entertainment Co., Ltd.,” purchased the building under the corporate name in 2021, and it has been confirmed that no significant construction work has been done since the purchase.
The actress is maintaining a rental business on the basement to the third floor above ground, while converting the fourth and fifth floors, which were previously residential, into neighborhood facilities and using them as offices for her affiliated company.
Responding to this information, Kim Ji-won’s agency simply replied that the matter is difficult to confirm due to it being the artist’s personal matter.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-won is enjoying the peak of her career after debuting, perfectly portraying the female protagonist Hong Hae-in in “Queen of Tears,” which is currently airing on tvN.
