Kim Ji-won Picked Scenes In Germany As Her Favorite In “Queen Of Tears”

Actors Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won explained why their characters fell in love for each other in “Queen of Tears” 

On March 26th, the YouTube channel “Netflix K-Content” uploaded a new video titled “Couch Talk with Kim Soo-hyun & Kim Ji-won”.

The video shows Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won introducing tvN’s drama “Queen of Tears”. Kim Ji-won shared, “It tells the story of a couple facing a marital crisis and the process of rebuilding their relationship. Love is the main element throughout these stories. I’m sure the audience will feel a lot of warmth and excitement.”

Revealing that his favorite scene was the wedding scene, Kim Soo-hyun said, “I got to wear a tuxedo and she got to wear a dress. We also got to walk down the aisle”. Kim Ji-won added, “The scenes we shot in Germany were the most memorable for me. I had a great time shooting so many lovely and beautiful moments there. It was quite memorable”.

When asked what made them fall in love with “Queen of Tears”, Kim Ji-won said, “When I first read the script, I had so many questions. As I kept reading on, what started out as curiosity eventually turned into affection for the story.” Kim Soo-hyun also sympathized, saying “The tears shed on the show are all varied and different. You’ll be able to feel the emotions of all characters, not just Hyun-woo and Hae-in”. Kim Ji-won also pointed out that Park Sung-hoon was the most emotional actor.

Regarding the reasons Hong Hae-in fell in love with Baek Hyun-woo, Kim Soo-hyun said, “He’s a sweet guy. He’s perceptive and smart. He’s a bit of a loser. At times, he’s petty. I’m a bit embarrassed to say this by myself, but he has a cute side that comes from his pitifulness and pettiness”.

On the contrary, Kim Ji-won also explained why Baek Hyun-woo fell in love with Hong Hae-in. She said, “If I were to guess, I think it’s her coldness and tenacity along with her selfish side. I think Hyun-woo sees all of those traits in a very loving way.”
