The May 9 broadcast of KBS 2TV’s Mr. House Husband Season 2 will feature global star Kim Jaejoong as he closely examines the daily life of his close younger friend Takuya Terada and delivers some brutally honest life advice.
During the episode, Kim Jaejoong visits Takuya’s home and is reportedly shocked by the luxury brand boxes and empty whiskey bottles scattered throughout the house. He also cannot hide his frustration over Takuya’s insistence on living in Gangnam.
Jaejoong bluntly tells him, “I don’t understand why you need to live in Gangnam. It’s just your greed, and it doesn’t make you look cool.” He then reflects on his own difficult past, including the time he lived in a tiny goshiwon room, while sincerely advising Takuya to let go of unnecessary vanity.
Viewers are expected to see just how frustrated the “world star” became while witnessing Takuya’s lifestyle habits firsthand.
Later, the two move to the office of Kim Jaejoong’s entertainment agency, where they share deeper and more personal conversations. Takuya opens up for the first time about the emotional burden he carried after finding his biological father through a television program but being unable to tell his stepfather the truth.
In response, Kim Jaejoong reveals a deeply personal story from his own life. Adopted at the age of three, the singer shared that his biological father once tried to contact him during his military service.
Jaejoong candidly confessed, “I wasn’t mature enough to forgive either,” while offering sincere comfort and advice to Takuya, who has experienced similar family struggles.
The episode will also feature a special consultation with fortune teller and physiognomy expert Park Sungjoon, arranged by Kim Jaejoong to help Takuya with his ongoing concerns about life and his future.
After examining Takuya’s face, the expert reportedly shocked everyone by saying, “Your early life fortune is a complete mess, and you have the face of someone who gets taken advantage of.” The blunt analysis leaves Takuya visibly stunned.
According to the production team, Takuya even falls into deep contemplation afterward, reportedly asking, “Should I go back to Japan?”
Whether Kim Jaejoong’s heartfelt advice and “special solution” can truly help bring change to Takuya’s life will be revealed on the May 9 episode of Mr. House Husband, airing at 9:20 PM KST.
