Kim Hye Soo is currently considering an offer to come back in a new drama.
On June 15th, through Dispatch, Kim Hye Soo’s agency revealed, “Kim Hye Soo has received an offer to appear in the drama Trigger (working title) and is currently reviewing it.“
“Trigger” is the next project by director Yoo Seon Dong of “The Uncanny Counter.”. It is an office comedy set in the first-ever domestic broadcasting station’s investigative reporting department.
Kim Hye Soo has been offered the role of the head of the investigative reporting team. As a character full of righteousness, she is expected to portray a fiery yet charming female lead.
If her role is confirmed, it will mark Kim Hye Soo’s small-screen comeback after a year. Kim Hye Soo received great love from viewers through last year’s tvN historical drama “Under The Queen’s Umbrella.”
Meanwhile, Kim Hye Soo will meet audiences through the movie “Smuggling” (directed by Ryu Seung Wan). “Smuggling” is scheduled to be released on July 26th.
