Kim Hye Eun expressed her sadness and anger after finding out the news of Kim Young Ok’s death was fake

Actress Kim Hye Eun revealed her heartbroken feeling due to the recent fake news.

On February 12th, Kim Hye Eun uploaded a photo taken together with senior actress Kim Young Ok on her Instagram.

She added the caption, “My role model. I cried a lot because a bad Youtuber spread the fake news that she passed away. I regretted not having a meal with her once and was very upset”, confessing her anger towards fake news.

Kim Hye Eun continued, “Teacher Kim Young Ok, whom I recently met again through the drama ‘Strangers’ after a while since ‘Lovers of Haeundae’. I’ll never let you go. I respect and love you. Please stay healthy and continue acting for a long time”, showing her affection for Kim Young Ok.

In response to Kim Hye Eun’s post, netizens commented, “Why are they creating such fake news?”, “You two are so beautiful”, “Those who spread fake news should be punished”, “Unnie, you’re so pretty”, etc.

Earlier, a Youtube video spread fake news that Kim Young Ok has passed away. Kim Hye Eun must have been very surprised when she saw it.

Not only Kim Young Ok but many other celebrities have also been suffering from rumors of fake deaths. Actor Park Geun Hyung, singer Hye Eun I, and chef Baek Jong Won also complained of damage caused by fake news.

Kim Hye Eun graduated from the Department of Music – Voice at Seoul National University and used to work as an announcer and weathercaster at Cheongju MBC. She made her name known as an actress after starring in the 2012 film “Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time”. 

Kim Young Ok and Kim Hye Eun recently reunited in Disney+’s new webtoon-based drama “Strangers”, which tells about the cohabitation of a cool mother and a cool daughter. “Strangers” will be released this year.
