Kim Hieora, “I cried after getting cast in ‘The Glory’… Writer Kim Eun Sook said I had Sa Ra’s eyes”
Actress Kim Hieora shows off her sensual and unique beauty in new pictorials.
Fashion magazine Allure Korea released a new pictorial of Kim Hieora, who recently gained huge love for her appearance in Netflix’s original series “The Glory” (written by Kim Eun Sook/ directed by Ahn Gil Ho).
With the message “HERE I AM”, Kim Hieora gave off a charming atmosphere with her model poses and delicate expressions. The actress maximizes her original charms against the black-and-white background and reveals a new face that is different from the images she has presented so far. Her bold short hairstyle and expressionless face add a neutral vibe to the photo shoot.
Kim Hieora also mentioned her character Lee Sa Ra in “The Glory” during the interview with Allure Korea. She said, “I didn’t have much information about my role during the audition so I just did my best. When they called me to the audition for the second time, I showed them a painting that I drew as a hobby. I left after the audition but then quickly received the script that day. I burst into tears because I was so happy”.
The actress shared, “I gained strength from director Ahn Gil Ho and writer Kim Eun Sook’s encouragement”, adding “After getting cast, the writer told me, ‘You have the eyes of Sa Ra that I think of’. The director also expressed his belief in me, saying ‘Just be yourself. Do whatever you want’, so I also managed all the questions in my head. Thanks to them, I immersed myself in the drama and became Sa Ra. I think I was a lucky actress”.
Kim Hieora said, “I want to challenge historical dramas and characters that are more Korean. I want to enjoy myself at the moment a little more. I mostly play supporting roles, I want to do everything I can. I want to act and greet viewers with good works for a long time.”
