Super Junior’s Kim Heechul surprised fans on November 23 by posting photos of a warm reunion with Taiwanese actress Puff Kuo (Guo Xuefu), who once starred alongside him as his virtual wife on We Got Married – Global Edition.
In his SNS post he wrote, “11 years after meeting Puff Kuo memories of Cherry oppa… time goes by so fast. Let’s all stay healthy and see each other for a long time.”
The shared photos show Kim Heechul and Puff Kuo smiling together; Super Junior member Yesung also appears to have joined them in the group shot. Netizens quickly responded, praising their unchanged chemistry and commenting on how youthful they both look despite the passage of time.
Kim Heechul and Puff Kuo originally formed a popular on-screen couple during the program’s 2014 run, where their playful banter and close rapport won attention both in Korea and internationally at the time many fans even asked whether they were dating off-screen. The two have reportedly kept in touch over the years, and this recent meetup renews that long-running bond for fans to celebrate.
Kim Heechul remains active on Korean variety television and with Super Junior, whose 20th anniversary activities also included charitable donations earlier this year details of which circulated alongside the reunion coverage in Korean media.
