“Soulmate” deals with the essence of human relationships through 14 years of meeting and parting, friendship and love, longing and jealousy between two friends Mi So (Kim Da Mi) and Ha Eun (Jeon So Nee) who first met at the age of 13. It is based on the Chinese movie with the same name released in 2017. In this work, Kim Da Mi played the free-spirited Mi So.

Regarding Jeon So Nee, who played Ha Eun, Kim Da Mi said, “She is the type of person who never stops when it comes to acting. She kept asking questions such as ‘Is this right?’ and looking at things from various perspectives. I felt that part was delicate.”

She expressed her affection for Jeon So Nee, “The best part was that she interpreted the character Mi So in the same way with me. Even when I didn’t say anything, she still knew that Mi So had to act like this, and she gave me better opinions than I thought. I felt that she understood and sympathized with both Ha Eun and Mi So, so I was very happy and comfortable while acting with her.”

Regarding Byeon Woo Seok, who played Jin Woo, who protects the friendship between the two girls, Kim Da Mi praised, “He kept asking the actors and director what was better on set. It was great to see that he tried his best. I was very thankful and happy to work with him.”

Meanwhile, the movie “Soulmate” will be released in theaters nationwide on March 15th.
