Mnet’s ‘BOYS PLANET’, a global K-POP boy group making project, has confirmed its broadcast in February next year.
By the end of the public recruiting process in August, the “Boys Planet” side had finally confirmed 98 successful candidates with the potential to become stars. Unlike previous season, when the participating areas were confined to Korea, China, and Japan, the scope of selection has been widened to include the whole world this year. For the open recruitment that ended in August of last year, thousands of people from 84 countries and regions, including Korea, Asia, Europe, America, and the Middle East, submitted applications. In this open recruitment round, 229 local and international management companies participated.
Following the girl group Kepler, which was born in the previous female version of ‘Girls Planet 999: Girls’ Battle’, interest is gathering about what kind of boy group will be born this time.
