Kep1er’s Kang Ye-seo Takes College Entrance Exam This Year, Aspires to Major in Acting and Music
Kep1er’s maknae Kang Ye-seo is taking on the challenge of college entrance exams
According to Star News on November 10th, Kang Ye-seo is scheduled to take the 2024 College Scholastic Ability Test (known as CSAT) on November 16th in Seoul.
Born in August 2005, making her 18 years old, Kang Ye-seo currently attends Lila Arts High School in Jung-gu, Seoul, and is among the candidates taking the CSAT this year.
Despite the growing trend among K-pop idols to give up exam attempts in favor of focusing on entertainment activities, Kang Ye-seo has chosen to balance her studies and take the CSAT.
Kang Ye-seo has expressed a desire to major in acting or practical music. She debuted as a Kep1er member through Mnet’s survival show ‘Girls Planet 999’ in October 2021. The multinational group, Kep1er, consisting of nine members, has been active in both Korea and Japan. Prior to participating in ‘Girls Planet 999,’ Kang Ye-seo was also a member of girl groups CutieL, Prestige, and Busters.
Having accumulated acting experience early on as a child actress, Kang Ye-seo made her debut in the 2010 drama ‘Goldfish’ and continued to appear in various dramas such as ‘Cebra,’ ‘Fighting Family,’ Angel’s Choice,’ ‘Dream of the Emperor,’ among others. She also starred in ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’ and gained recognition for her role as the police chief’s daughter.
