Kangta talked about his comeback after a long time.
On the September 17th broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s ‘Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show’, singer Kangta appeared as a guest.
On this day’s broadcast, Park Myung Soo asked Kangta, “You’re releasing an album after 17 years, are there any hardships in life you’re facing?” Kangta answered, “I have the copyrights, so if I save them, I’ll be fine.”
Park Myung Soo then asked, “Aren’t you an SM director?” Kangta said, “I’m like a child who goes to work because I’m a non-registered director. However, I participate in production and give opinions on the work. There are things I need to confirm, but without me, everything can be done these days. There are not many difficulties, but the salary is not that high.”
Regarding BoA and Kim Minjong, who were also appointed directors at SM, he said, “It started as a courtesy to artists. Now there are too many candidates.”
When asked if he owns SM stocks and if he made good money from them, Kangta said “yes” and laughed.
