Kang Daniel showed off his cat amid controversy over saying the wrong brand name on live broadcast, “It’s cute, isn’t it”

Kang Daniel updated fans with his whereabouts amid controversy. 

On November 11th, Kang Daniel posted a video of his cat he took himself with the caption, “#Cat #ShowingOffMyCat #Cute #Right #kitty #cat”. This draws attention as it is Kang Daniel’s first update amid his controversy.

On November 8th, during a live broadcast of Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter”, Kang Daniel made a mistake and said, “I will greet our advertisers as well. Trevi’s carbonated water is tasty. Just kidding. But I am half sincere.” Controversy arose as Kang Daniel was promoting Trevi, instead of Seagram, which is the program’s sponsor. 

Afterwards, Kang Daniel apologized through his agency on November 9th, saying, “I made the mistake of saying the brand name incorrectly. There was a moment of confusion because it was the finale where the atmosphere was too heated. Viewers and advertisers, I’m sorry.”

However, due to his continuous slip of the tongue, the reaction of Korean netizens to Kang Daniel is worse than ever. The reaction of industry insiders to a celebrity mentioning a competitor rather than a sponsor during live broadcast is also cold.
