K-netizens Don’t Want To Get Married After Witnessing Hwang Jung-eum’s Divorce With Cheating Husband
Hwang Jung-eum’s divorce has been taken as an example for Korean women.
On February 23, an netizen made a post on the popular Korean online community Nate Pann with the title “I don’t want to get married after looking at Hwang Jung-eum’s case.”
This post claims, “Even such a pretty, rich and famous woman like her got cheated on. Maybe until Hwang Jung-eum got married, she thought her husband was a really good person.”
This post immediately went viral and gathered approximately 200,000 views after only a day. In the comment section, numerous Korean women are flooded in to show their agreement.

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung-eum announced her divorce with her businessman husband on February 24. The husband was suspected of having an affair based on Hwang’s SNS posts and comments.
