“1. Articles about GD’s abnormal behaviors amid drug suspicions

Media outlets S**, M** and J*** have not deleted the videos on their channels. There were more than 100 articles about those videos

They also made reports about fans suspecting GD’s drug use

2. Football player Lee Kang-in deleted photos taken with GD and unfollowed GD

In fact, Lee Kang-in has never followed GD or posted those pictures on his Instagram

3. The lawyer appointed by GD is a former prosecutor with legal fees of 2 billion won

The report by former reporter-turned-Youtuber Lee Jin-ho is 100% false. GD attended the police summons all by himself without being accompanied by a lawyer

4. Notice of fans visiting the police station the day of GD’s voluntary attendance

There was no article like that. In fact, the majority of fans advised against doing that. There were no reports about fans visiting the police station

5. GD showed an arrogant attitude and mocked the police when he voluntarily attended the investigation

6. GD suspected of destroying evidence by removing all body hair

He voluntarily went to the police station and submitted hair, nails and body hair. The claim of GD removing body hair is clearly false information. He has never had hair removal after being booked by the police

7. Articles about GD’s wealth poured out after his interview

The media tried to deceive the public by making numerous news with groundless speculations. Now that GD has been cleared of charges, they still shamelessly ignore what they did to him in the past. “

In response, other netizens commented:

– The fact is we can see that major media outlets are even worse than cyber wreckers through GD’s incident

– I can’t believe how the media can be this bad on public channels. Older people cannot see clarification and correction posts, so if there’s anything on the public channels, they will automatically believe it. Even if he is cleared of charges, many people still think articles about hair removal, legal fees or strange behaviors are true. The media really needs to spread their corrections and clarifications of false news wider

– I’m sure all of those reporters wrote articles about G-Dragon. I was surprised to see how calm he was when speaking in front of so many media and entertainment reporters who were trying to make malicious claims about him. One of them even went to the police station just to criticize him as soon as he showed up. The broadcast was controversial

– The police might have sparked controversy but it was the media that poured gasoline into fire but they are acting like they didn’t do anything wrong and turn to criticize the police’s mistakes. That’s so annoying. Apologize to GD!

– The incident this time is really serious. How can they still do that just to bring down one person? Is this the level of this country?
