The Korean entertainment industry is known for being filled with visual goddesses, However, they are not air-heads either, and these beauties may boast the sexiest brains with outstanding education backgrounds. 

As many stars have been accused of receiving special treatment to get into schools and graduate without having to study properly, a topic, which lists Korean actresses with impressive educational profiles, started to gain attention on Korean forums. 

And among those listed are many top visuals of the K-drama scene, including Lee Young Ae, Eugene, Park Eun Bin, and more. 

Lee Young Ae

Famous for her legendary K-drama “Dae Jang Geum”, Lee Young Ae’s popularity is unparalleled with the Korean acting world. She’s also considered a top visual of Korean showbiz, and even now in her 50s, the actress still looks as youthful and stunning as ever. 

However, little do people know that alongside her beauty and career, Lee Young Ae boasts a remarkable educational background as well. In particular, the actress graduated from Hanyang University – one of the Top 10 institutions in Korea, with a bachelor degree in German Language and Literature. Fellow students describe Lee Young Ae as an energetic and hardworking friend, and said that people considered her their “ideal type” due to her remarkable grades and visuals.

Later on, the actress earned a Master degree in Theater and Film at Chung Ang University. 

Eugene

During her time as a Kpop idol, the actress managed to get into the Department of French Language at the prestigious Korea University. Now, Eugene is fluent in 4 languages, including Korean, English, French, and Japanese.

Park Eun Bin

Recently, actress Park Eun Bin has been the center of attention for her role as the female lead Woo Young Woo in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”. If her character, Woo Young Woo is a genius on the screen, then Park Eun Bin is also an excellent student in real life. 

Ever since her high school days, Park Eun Bin was voted as the class representative due to her dedication for studying. The actress then managed to get into the Psychology Department at Sogang University – an excellent feat than many Koreans dream about. 

In fact, Sogang is considered one of the top education institutions in Korea, ranking only behind SKY, which consists of Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and Korea University. The school’s acceptance rate is as low as 3%, making Park Eun Bin truly a star student to be able to enroll. According to Park Eun Bin, her Psychology major helps her to understand her characters better. The actress also earned another degree from Sogang, in Journalism.

Jung Ryeo Won

Jung Ryeo Won is most well-known for playing the second female lead in the national drama “My Lovely Sam Soon”. While she was born in Korea, Jung Ryeo Won moved to Australia at a young age, and was raised there. As a result, she is fluent in the English language. 

Upon returning to Korea, Jung Ryeo Won managed to enter the prestigious Korea University, majoring in Journalism. To Koreans, this is an extremely impressive achievement, seeing that Jung Ryeo Won studied abroad and so was unfamiliar with the Korean testing scene, and yet still managed to get into a top school.
