JYP’s Japanese girl group NiziU to release new digital single in April

NiziU, a girl group belonging to JYP Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as JYP), will release a new digital single on April 12th.

On the morning of April 2nd, JYP announced on its official website and SNS channel, “NiziU will release their new digital single ‘ASOBO‘ on April 12th.” The group photo released along with the news of the release of the new song showed NiziU smiling brightly in a place full of cute props.

The new song’s name “ASOBO” is a Japanese word that means “Let’s play“. It contains a bright and positive message that “If you have a playful and enjoyable heart, you can enjoy any daily life.”

Leader Mako said, “The new song ‘ASOBO’ is full of ‘playful’ charms as its name suggests. I hope you enjoy the unique elements of the song such as lyrics and dance, and I hope you enjoy the warm spring with us.”

Meanwhile, NiziU will appear at “KCON 2022 Premiere” to be held in Seoul for 2 days on May 7th~8th. This is NiziU’s first performance in Korea since their debut, adding meaning. Besides, the group is also selected as the most popular Kpop girlgroup among Japanese youngers.
