JYP signs global strategic partnership with Live Nation “In charge of TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY’s concerts”

JYP Entertainment officially announced a multi-year global strategic partnership with the global performance agency Live Nation to establish a cooperative system for the best concert business

On Nov 14th, JYP Entertainment stated, “Through the partnership with Live Nation, we’ll produce concerts for our artists, including TWICE, Stray Kids, ITZY, Xdinary Heroes (XH), NMIXX, and upcoming promising artists.

The signing of this partnership between JYP Entertainment and Live Nation goes beyond formalizing their successful collaboration over the past few years in producing and promoting concerts, extending it to new horizons.

The combination of JYP Entertainment, a talent discovery and management company with expertise, and Live Nation, holding extensive global concert resources, is expected to create new opportunities for artists to connect and communicate with fans on a larger scale. Both companies plan to enhance the global growth of JYP Entertainment’s artists by adding creativity and professionalism. Currently, Live Nation operates concert business in over 45 regions worldwide and has sold more than 140 million global concert tickets by 2023. This partnership is expected to offer a new scope for global reach in K-pop concerts.

JYP Entertainment’s artists have made history by leading numerous world tours produced by Live Nation. TWICE, for example, held successful concerts, including entering and selling out the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and the MetLife Stadium in New York last June and July. They are currently unfolding their fifth world tour “READY TO BE” consisting of 44 shows in 25 regions worldwide, establishing themselves as “Global Stadium Headliner”.

Stray Kids solidified their position as “Global Trend” with their second world tour “MANIAC”. Starting in Seoul in April 2022, they toured 18 regions, including North America, Japan and Asia, totaling 42 shows.

This partnership reflects JYP Entertainment’s determination to expand its global market presence. In June 2023, JYP Entertainment expanded its strategic collaboration with the U.S. label Republic Records, forming a comprehensive global cooperation system. This builds on the success of the collaboration that began with TWICE in February 2020, proving its effectiveness in the U.S. market and aiming to elevate the global success of JYP Entertainment artists, including Stray Kids and ITZY, in the global music market and further establish K-pop’s dominance. With this partnership, JYP Entertainment and Live Nation stand at the forefront of K-pop’s global expansion.
