Netflix original series “Juvenile Justice” is green lit for another season, but the cast is undecided.
As reported by Bloter on August 1st, season 2 of Netflix original series “Juvenile Justice” will begin its pre-production between August and September of this year. Pre-production refers to the process of discussing and confirming the production crew, cast, and story line before filming.
Accordingly, “Juvenile Justice” season 2 will continue to be directed by director Hong Jong Chan. As the series is currently in the process of preparing for pre-production, other information is not yet unveiled.
In particular, attention is paid to whether Kim Hye Soo, who led season 1 of “Juvenile Justice”, will return to season 2.
“Juvenile Justice” is a courtroom drama depicting the story of judge Shim Eun Seok (Kim Hye Soo), who despises underaged criminals as she is newly appointed to the juvenile department of a district court. Despite being rated inappropriate for teenagers, “Juvenile Justice” was ranked in the Top 10 in the non-English TV category on Netflix worldwide for two months after its release.
