“Seven”, the new solo song of BTS Jungkook, has topped the Spotify Global Chart, becoming the biggest debut for a Kpop artist.
On July 14th, BTS Jungkook dropped the audio and MV for his solo single “Seven” (ft. Latto), fulfilling the high anticipation of fans and the public alike.
After one day of release, the song has already recorded outstanding achievements, hitting No.1 on Melon’s Top 100 and iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 106 different regions.
In addition, on the world’s largest music streaming platform Spotify, “Seven” recorded 15,995,378 streams on the first day, reaching No.1 on Spotify Global Chart. This is the biggest debut on the Spotify Global Chart for a Kpop artist, surpassing BTS’s “Butter” with 11,042,335 streams.
Furthermore, with this jaw-dropping achievement for “Seven”, Jungkook has become the first Kpop artist ever to debut at 1st place on the United States’ Spotify Chart.
