Jung Woo-sung plays the role of the commander of the Capital Garrison Command Lee Tae-shin. He is a soldier who is faithful to his duty and has a strong and honest aspect against the rebel Chun Doo-kwang (Hwang Jung-min).

In the interview, the reporter said, “I think it was better for you to play Lee Tae-shin because your thrilling face can show justice.”

The actor answered, “I couldn’t and didn’t approach it as “Justice or Not,” adding, “Director Kim Sung-soo was trying to deal with human nature. I think the director was trying to tell a story about human nature, but he wasn’t trying to show the definition of the “12·12 incident” and the confrontation between good and evil. There is a desire to focus on human warriors support, but I didn’t think they were forcing it.”

The reporter asked, “Hwang Jung-min’s unexpected transformation became a hot topic. How did you feel when you first saw his change on set?”

To which, Jung replied, “He acted out the character that went beyond its makeup. I thought, ‘How can it suits him so much? How could I handle this? This energy”. I was actually envious.”
