So far, anticipation is high for “Mom’s Friend’s Son” as the drama reunites a trustworthy production team. In particular, the project marks the next work of director Yoo Je-won, who consecutively succeeded with “Hometown Cha Cha Cha” and “Crash Course in Romance”, alongside writer Shin Ha-eun again, who worked on “Hometown Cha Cha Cha”.

The casting of Jung So-min after Jung Hae-in has so far garnered attention.

In particular, Jung So-min portrays the female lead Bae Seok-ryu, who has never strayed. Leading a successful career as a project manager at a global conglomerate, she suddenly encounters a significant breakdown one day, and wants to reboot her life.

Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in is set to assume the role of Choi Seung-hyo, who will have explosive daily life chemistry with Bae Seok-ryu.

Regarding the casting news, Jung So-min expressed, “I am truly honored to encounter such a warm and relatable work. I’ve enjoyed the writer’s previous works, so I’m even more excited”.

“Mom’s Friend’s Son” is scheduled to air later in 2024.
