On February 10, Jung Eun-woo posted a message reading, “Missed, envious, regretful.. PIR.BG,” alongside photos of Hong Kong film legend Leslie Cheung and British singer Amy Winehouse. He also included a photo of himself.

After news of his death was reported on February 11, the post took on deeper poignancy, as both Leslie Cheung and Amy Winehouse are late stars who passed away at a young age.

Leslie Cheung, who maintained a strong fanbase in Korea, died on April 1, 2003, at the hotel where he was staying. Amy Winehouse, the acclaimed British singer-songwriter, passed away on July 23, 2011, at the age of 27 due to acute alcohol poisoning.

Born in 1986, Jung Eun-woo debuted in 2006 through KBS2’s “Sharp 3.” He went on to appear in dramas such as “Bride of the Sun,” “Five Fingers,” “A Well-Grown Daughter,” “Strangers,” “The Return of Hwang Geum-bok,” and “My Only One.” His most recent project was the 2021 film “Memory: Manipulated Murder.”

As fans revisit his final message, many have expressed sorrow over the timing and emotional weight of the post, mourning the loss of an actor whose career spanned nearly two decades.
