Kang Dong-won and Joo Won were pointed out to resemble each other with a synchronization rate of up to 90%.
The broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Weekly”, which was aired on February 4th, revealed the rankings of “Olympics of doppelgangers in the entertainment industry” through its “Woman Running on the Chart” section.
Following No.15 So Ji-sub & Yoo Seung-ho, No.14 Kang Kyung-wook & Park Wan-kyu, No.13 Nucksal & Lee Eun-hyung, No.12 Park Hee-sun & Jung Jae-young, No.11 Ko Chang-seok & archer Oh Jin-hyeok, No.10 Lee Bum-soo & Kim Hyung-mook, No.9 “Big Mama” Lee Hye-jung & Hong Yoon-hwa, No.8 Jung Doo-hong & Cho Hee-bong, actors Kang Dong-won and Joo Won were selected for the 7th place.
Appearing on a broadcast in the past, Joo Won once talked about his experience of being mistaken as Kang Dong-won. He said, “I went to a concert for a study paper. After seeing the singers off, their fans came back to the concert hall and bumped into me”, adding, “One person suddenly shouted, ‘It’s Kang Dong-won’. In an instant, all the fans there went crazy and they gathered around me. They even took away my hat.”
The two actors look so much alike with a synchronization rate of up to 90%. They resemble each other a lot, from their nose tips to their long and sharp eyes as well as their thin lips. Moreover, while Kang Don-won is 186cm tall, Joo Won’s height is also revealed to be 185cm.
With their similar soft images, the two even appeared in a coffee advertisement together, captivating the hearts of all female fans.
