Jo Yuri Reveals Behind-the-Scenes of New Song ‘Taxi’ and Talks Her Driving Fears

Jo Yuri reveals she doesn’t have a driver’s license and is scared to drive in Seoul.

On August 17th, Jo Yuri appeared on MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shin Young’s Noon Song of Hope’ to talk about her comeback with the mini-album ‘Love All.’

DJ Kim Shin Young congratulated Jo Yuri on her album release after a year and two months and asked her why it took so long. Jo Yuri explained, “The title track wasn’t ready. While there were many great B-side tracks, finding the title track was challenging, so it took some time.”

Kim Shin Young asked again, “So, the title track that you put so much effort into is ‘Taxi.’ Are you aiming to be a taxi ambassador?” Jo Yuri replied, “That would be great if it happens. Instead of thinking ‘I must do it’ after listening to the guide, I wanted to show a different side with this song.”

When a listener asked Jo Yuri, who dreams of being a taxi ambassador, if she has a driver’s license, she jokingly shook her head and said, “I don’t have a driver’s license, so the title track is ‘Taxi.'”

She continued, “I don’t think I’ll get a license. I’m scared to drive in Seoul. The roads look too complicated, and I’m quite fearful. Not only am I bad with directions, but I also lack any sense of direction.”

Meanwhile, Jo Yuri is currently promoting the title track ‘Taxi’ from her mini-album ‘Love All.’ She has also confirmed to join the cast of Netflix original series ‘Squid Game Season 2.’
