On May 22, preview footage at the end of the latest episode was released on Hyeri’s YouTube channel featuring Jo Jung-suk as next week’s guest.
Hyeri warmly welcomed him, saying that it felt like they were meeting on broadcast for the first time in 9 years after working together on a drama. Jo Jung-suk also showed affection for Hyeri, sharing that although he has no younger siblings and is the youngest in his family, Hyeri feels like a little sister to him.
During the preview, Jo Jung-suk also talked about his marriage to singer Gummy. He clarified that they did not hold a wedding ceremony, saying many people still ask why they were not invited. “I didn’t have a wedding. But many people ask, ‘Why didn’t you invite me to your wedding?’ I didn’t have one,” he explained.
The funniest moment came when he started talking about his daughters. Jo Jung-suk said his first daughter looks so much like him that he prayed his second daughter would be different. However, things did not go as expected. “My first daughter looks so much like me. So I prayed for the second, but what happened? She looks even more like me than the first. She is just a stamp,” he said. He then joked, “In our house, there are three Jo Jung-suks and one Gummy.”
Hyeri responded that having two daughters must make him worry a lot. Jo Jung-suk immediately looked as if he needed a drink, making everyone laugh. Hyeri then acted out a situation where her future teenage daughter slams the door in front of him. Just imagining it seemed too much for Jo Jung-suk, who reacted emotionally. “I’m getting choked up. Stop it,” he said. But when Hyeri continued the role-play, Jo Jung-suk confessed, “I think I’m going to cry,” showing his soft “daughter fool” side.
Jo Jung-suk married singer Gummy in 2018. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2020 and their second daughter this January.
