Jiyeon Unveils Capable Side: Helping Parents and Sweet Chat with Husband

On February 18th, a video titled “When you go to the market, there’s a mill and Jiyeon” was uploaded on the YouTube channel of T-ARA’s Jiyeon.

On this day, Jiyeon visited her parents’ home to help them during the Lunar New Year season. Upon entering the market, she met her mother selling sesame seeds and garlic, and immediately checked what needed to be done.

Jiyeon, who was ready to work in earnest, engaged in conversation with her parents and then had a meal together. She indulged in admiration for the meal while doing a mukbang.

When Jiyeon asked, “Were there many customers?”, her mother replied, “Not yet,” mentioning that there would be more customers during the holiday season. In response, Jiyeon expressed her determination to prepare a lot of garlic.

After finishing the meal, Jiyeon started packaging sesame powder, saying, “It feels like I’m doing a different job for the first time. I’ve been promoted.” Until now, she had only been picking garlic stems.

Then, Jiyeon took out two trays of garlic and started picking the garlic stems. With her deft hands, she caught the attention with her skilled craftsmanship. While working, Jiyeon received a phone call from her husband Hwang Jae-kyun.

When Hwang Jae-kyun called, his father-in-law and mother-in-law expressed concern for their son-in-law, saying, “It’ll take a long time to get here” and “Just lie down.” 

Meanwhile, Jiyeon also shared snippets of her daily life to her husband, saying things such as “I ate as soon as I arrived. I had pork”.
