On January 16th, Chinese media site Sina reported that model Kelly Chen shared several photos of her family at the beach. Through these photos, many people discovered that after his serious car accident in July 2022, actor Jimmy Lin (husband of Kelly Chen), has gotten even thinner than his first son Kimi Lin.
According to Sina, Jimmy Lin has not fully recovered, and often practices moving his arms and hands to regain its pre-accident mobility. “My arms require more time to fully recover. I am currently doing rehabilitation exercises, such as jogging on the treadmill everyday”, said the actor.
At the same time, Jimmy Lin stated that he has no plans to return to the entertainment industry in the near future. Instead, he wants to travel and spend time with his family. The actor also expressed his gratitude to Kelly Chen, who has taken care of him in spite of difficulties.
It seems that despite no new activities, however, Jimmy Lin is still in possession of enormous wealth thanks to his business investments. Sina reported that the actor owns a lot of companies, and often looks into new business realms. According to them, Jimmy Lin’s net worth can amount to about 1.5 billion USD, making him one of the richest actors in the Chinese showbiz.
Previously on July 22nd, 2022, Jimmy Lin and his son, Jenson, faced a serious traffic accident in Taoyuan City, Taiwan. As a result, he suffered from multiple injuries and fractures, as well as minor brain injuries. He also broke his face bone and shoulder, and fell into a coma for 3 days. In the end, he underwent bone surgeries and a face surgery.
After 1 month of receiving extensive treatment, Jimmy Lin was discharged from the hospital and is currently in rehabilitation. It was reported that due to his brain injuries and coma, the actor cannot recall much about the accident.
