Controversy has once again erupted around BTS member Jimin, after a new photo allegedly showing him with actress Song Da Eun started circulating online. The image, now viral on both Korean and international platforms, is being used to reignite dating speculations — despite previous denial by BIGHIT MUSIC.
This isn’t the first time the two have been linked. Back in August, fans raised eyebrows over a photo claimed to be taken inside Da Eun’s apartment. Now, with the new picture, rumors have gained renewed traction, with Korean fans suggesting the pair may still be together.
Yet, the backlash was swift.
Within hours, online communities pushed back, accusing rumor-spreaders of deliberate misinformation. One user slammed the claim, writing:
“Who is that person, and why did they suddenly become Jimin?”
“Is a sharp jawline something only Jimin can have?”
“They’re a group obsessed with fabricating stuff.”
Further investigation revealed that the original post came from a Chinese netizen, who later clarified that the man in the photo is likely a nugu idol — not Jimin.
In a follow-up post, the netizen added:
“He usually likes wearing a basic black tee. He dyed his hair blonde about 2 weeks ago. He posted photos of looking at the night view… I’m not sure if it’s the same place, but it really looks like him.”
Despite the viral spread, both fans and casual observers remain cautious, noting the lack of clear facial visibility in the photo and the suspicious timing of its release. Moreover, the continued denial from Jimin’s agency makes many netizens wonder whether these recurring rumors are simply attempts to stir drama in BTS‘s ongoing era.
