BTS member Jimin has shared his candid thoughts with fans for the first time since being embroiled in a controversy over his past relationship. On October 2, the singer surprised fans with a late-night live broadcast from his hotel in Paris, where he was attending the Dior SS26 Collection Show as a global ambassador.
During the live, Jimin reassured fans that while there are no immediate concert preparations, he is focusing on music:
“I’m working hard on the album. I’ll try to do it quickly so it won’t be delayed any longer. Now it’s time for BTS to return,” he said, hinting at a group comeback scheduled for the first half of next year.

Jimin further expressed his excitement about the upcoming project: “We’re working hard, and I’m very curious about how you’ll feel about this album. For us, it will definitely be a very precious one.” He added that there would be no more long hiatuses and revealed that he was preparing through running and dieting.
The broadcast also marked his first direct response since private videos with an ex-girlfriend were leaked, confirming his past relationship and breakup. Speaking openly, Jimin admitted:
“I want to keep showing a good side of myself, but living life well isn’t an easy thing. Becoming a good adult and living a good life—I’ve been realizing how hard that really is. Sometimes it feels like I’m just pretending to be an adult.”
Despite his candid admission, Jimin emphasized resilience and determination: “I’ll keep living well and do my best to show good sides of myself. I’ll work harder.”
He closed the broadcast with warm words for ARMY: “Please don’t worry about me. All I want is for you to stay healthy and happy. I’ll come back soon and show you everything I’ve prepared. See you in Korea.”
