Ji Seok Jin “I cursed harshly when Yoo Jae Suk received Daesang…I was thankful that fans got angry because of me”
Ji Seok Jin belatedly expressed his feelings about not winning Daesang at the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards.
KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show”, which aired on Feb 20th, featured Ji Seok Jin, KCM, Parc Jae Jung and Wonstein of MSG Wannabe (M.O.M).
Park Myung Soo said, “One of my favorite older brothers is Ji Seok Jin. I was very angry because he didn’t win Daesang at the SBS Entertainment Awards last year.” Ji Seok Jin admitted, “That’s right. It was a big issue back then.”
When Park Myung Soo said “If I were you, I would have visited the head of the production headquarters and argued with him”, Ji Seok Jin explained, “I’m not like that. It’s just that the atmosphere was focused on who would win between Tak Jae Hoon and me as a variety show tiki taka. I wanted to congratulate whoever would get the award.”
Ji Seok Jin added, “Of course, I cursed harshly when Jae Suk received it. I was like, ‘Congratulations, puppy.’ I didn’t really want to congratulate him in tears. My congratulations were sincere. I wanted to make it intense because we’re true friends. I was thankful that fans got angry because of me.”
Meanwhile, Ji Seok Jin received attention as a strong candidate at the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards, but in the end, the joy of winning the award went to Yoo Jae Suk.
