Jeon Yeo-bin reportedly cast in historical movie “Harbin”… First time acting with Hyun Bin

Actress Jeon Yeo-bin has been cast in the historical movie “Harbin”.

According to OSEN on April 12th, Jeon Yeo-bin positively reviewed the scenario of “Harbin“.

The movie “Harbin” (directed by Woo Min-ho, produced by Hive Media Corp.) is a spy action film that tells the story of fighters who risked their lives to regain their homeland and independence against the backdrop of Harbin in the early 1900s.

The names of the characters that will be played by Hyun Bin, Park Jung-min and Jeon Yeo-bin are not specifically known. This is the first time they will appear in the same movie.

Jeon Yeo-bin won the Best New Actress award at the 24th Chunsa Film Art Awards, the 28th Buil Film Awards and the 56th Grand Bell Awards for her film “After My Death” (2018). Since then, she has been making her presence felt by appearing in “Secret Zoo” (2020) and “Night in Paradise” (2021).

Jeon Yeo-bin, who recently finished filming Netflix’s “Glitch“, is currently working on “The Spider’s House“. She also confirmed her appearance on Netflix’s “Into Your Time“.

“Harbin” will be helmed by director Woo Min-ho, who captured the turbulent modern history through the movies “Inside Men” (2015), “The Drug King” (2018) and “The Man Standing Next” (2020).

It will be produced by Hive Media Corp., which made “Inside Men”, “Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum” (2018), “Forbidden Dream” (2019), “The Man Standing Next”, “Deliver Us from Evil” (2020) and “Happy New Year” (2021).

“Harbin” is currently in the pre-production stage as well as the process of casting other roles. It will start filming in September.
