At the press conference held online on October 28 for MBC Every1’s new variety show The Great Guide 2.5, the cast including Park Myung Soo, Kim Dae Ho, Choi Daniel, Lee Mu Jin, Jeon So Min, Hyojung, and PD Woo Tak Woo gathered to discuss the upcoming show.
During the event, Jeon So Min shared, “I thought, if not now, when would I ever get to travel with Choi Daniel? The trip was genuinely fun.” She went on to explain, “We clicked quickly due to our similar personalities, but we only got to know each other late last year or early this year. So we’re not exactly close friends yet.”
When Park Myung Soo playfully asked, “Then why were you holding hands interlocked?”, Jeon caused laughter as she clarified, “It was just for the photo shoot purely staged.”
Choi Daniel also chimed in, recalling that they first met during a drama last year. “So Min is very easy to get along with, so we became friendly quite fast. During the trip, she was very thoughtful and considerate,” he added. Jeon responded with a smile, “Daniel really knows how to say nice things.”
Reflecting on their time together, Jeon said, “I wondered if this trip would bring us closer to becoming true friends. When you travel together under tough conditions, it becomes a real test of friendship. Whether or not we become besties might be a fun part of the show for viewers to watch.”
The Great Guide 2.5 is a spin-off of the Great Guide series, with Choi Daniel and Kim Dae Ho acting as guides introducing beginner-friendly travel routes. The show premiered on October 28 at 8:30 PM KST.
