Episode 8 of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Crash Course in Romance”, which aired on Feb 5th, ranked first in the same time slot with an average rating of 13.6% and a maximum rating of 14.4% based on households in the metropolitan area. “Crash Course in Romance” follows the bittersweet relationship between a banchan shop owner who belatedly enters the war of Korea’s college entrance exams, and a top hagwon instructor.
In “Crash Course in Romance”, Jeon Do Yeon plays the role of Nam Haeng Seon, a former national handball player living with a younger brother with Asperger syndrome and a niece whom she raises as her daughter.
Despite portraying a middle-aged woman, Jeon Do Yeon still attracts viewers by making a breakthrough from her serious image in previous works and showing off her bright, reckless, and sometimes lovely side as Nam Haeng Seon.
