Jellyfish Ent. announces, “Exclusive contract with VIXX’s Hyuk expired. He will still carry out group activities as a member of VIXX”

VIXX’s Hyuk will be leaving Jellyfish Entertainment.

Jellyfish reported on June 8th, “Jellyfish’s exclusive contact with Hyuk recently expired.”

They continued, “Our company and Hyuk had a long and deep conversation and we came to a conclusion that the contract would not be renewed under the agreement between both sides”, adding “He will still carry out music activities as a member of VIXX in the future based on great trust and affection”.

Below is the full text of Jellyfish’s official announcement.

“Hello, this is Jellyfish Entertainment.

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank all the fans for loving and supporting Jellyfish Entertainment artists, VIXX and especially member Hyuk.

We would like to inform you that the exclusive contract between Jellyfish and Hyuk has recently expired. Our company and Hyuk had a long and deep conversation and we came to a conclusion that the contract would not be renewed under the agreement between both sides. However, he will still carry out music activities as a member of VIXX in the future based on our great trust and affection.

We would like to express our gratitude to Hyuk for being with us for the past 10 years with complete trust, and Jellyfish will continue to support Hyuk with his new challenge.
