Jang Won-young’s Sister Looked And Sounded Just Like Her In Script Reading Session Of “Pyramid Game”

On February 8, TVing released a script reading video of the original TVing series “Pyramid Game” (written by Choi Soo-yi/directed by Park So-yeon) on its official YouTube channel.

In the video, the cast, including Kim Ji-yeon, Jang Da-ah, Ryu Da-in, and Shin Seul-ki, gathered together to greet each other and read the script together. Director Park So-yeon said, “I will do my best to make it a safe and happy filming set. I will do my best to release it to the world by working well. Lastly, trust me. I will do my best.”

In the viseo, after the script reading began, Jang Da-ah seriously read the line, “Go in a little later. Da-yeon is looking for an F grade now,” showing her voice acting.

Jang Da-ah plays the role of Baek Ha-rin in this production. She explained the character, “Ha-rin always maintains a really sweet and dignified appearance, but she is a very clever child with the opposite heart.” At the same time, Jang Da-ah surprised viewers with her resemblance to Jang Won-young, not only in her appearance but also in her voice.

When asked how she felt about participating in the script reading, Jang Da-ah replied, “It was a great honor to be able to read the script in one place with senior actors gave me my dream.” Jang Da-ah later took a group photo standing with the other actors, showing off her unique proportion, just like her sister.

Meanwhile, “Pyramid Game” depicts a brutal survival battle in which students are divided into perpetrators, victims, and bystanders and gradually fall into violence. All of this happens in the fifth class of grade 11 of Baekyeon Girls’ High School, where the student being bullied is selected by secret vote once a month.
