Prosecutors Indicted People Who Accused Nam Joo-hyuk Of Bullying+ His Agency, “We Are Still Checking”

According to SBS reports on the day, the Goyang branch of the Uijeongbu District Prosecutors’ Office briefly indicted a reporter and a tipster who reported on Nam Joo-hyuk’s alleged school violence past on charges of defamation under the Information and Communication Network Act. The prosecution stated that the allegations they raised were false. The summary indictment is filed by the prosecution when it is determined that the suspects’ crime is closer to a fine than a prison sentence.

Earlier, in June 2022, allegations that Nam Joo-hyuk used to be a school bully were raised. At that time, three informants appeared, but in the meantime, two refutations from his classmates were made to counter, adding to the controversy. Nam Joo-hyuk joined the military in March last year amid the scandal and is currently serving in the Army Military Police Force. His discharge date is scheduled for September 19 this year.
