“Pyramid Game” has drawn keen attention since before the production stage. The drama was based on a webtoon of the same name that opened a new world for academy psychological thriller genre with its unique worldview, and it was also known as the debut project of IVE Jang Won-young’s sister Jang Da-ah and “Single’s Inferno 2” cast member Shin Seul-ki.

In addition to Jang Da-ah and Shin Seul-ki, the drama also starred rising actresses such as Kim Ji-yeon (WJSN’s Bona), Ryu Da-in and Kang Na-eon. Amid high expectations before the drama premiere, fans of the original webtoon and drama viewers also expressed concerns over character synchronization and the actresses’ acting skills. However, the cast, especially Jang Da-ah, actually succeeded in increasing viewers’ immersion in their drama.

Jang Da-ah took on the role of Baek Ha-rin, the princess of Class 2-5 who is loved by everyone.
