Recently, on the Chinese SNS platform Douyin, Jang Won-young’s appearance on the stage of her first world tour “SHOW WHAT I HAVE” in the Americas was posted.
In the video, Jang Won-young is seen brightly smiling and dancing towards her fans at the concert. She showcases beautiful dance moves, turning her body and waving to the audience.
Although the video is short, ranging from approximately 10 to 20 seconds, it has sparked a challenge, earning the nickname ‘Jang Won-young Turn.’ Moreover, the hashtag ‘张元英转圈’ (Jang Won-young Turn) was created on the platform, accumulating 4.34 billion views as of 1 p.m. on the 9th. As it rapidly spread in China, the ‘Jang Won-young Turn’ videos are also gaining significant attention in Korea.
Meanwhile, Jang Won-young debuted as a member of IVE in December 2021. IVE received much love with their title track ‘ELEVEN’ followed by ‘LOVE DIVE,’ ‘AFTER LIKE,’ ‘I’M,’ ‘OFF THE RECORD,’ and ‘BODY.’ Particularly, Jang Won-young contributed to the lyrics of IVE’s album tracks ‘MINE’ and ‘SHINE WITH ME,’ and exclusively wrote the lyrics for ‘OTITI,’ showcasing her musical abilities.
