Jang Won Young cried despite always being professional on Music Bank

IVE member Jang Won Young has left her position at Music Bank, where she has been a fixed MC since October 8th, 2021. 

On the January 13th broadcast of Music Bank, IVE Jang Won Young appeared for the final time as the fixed MC of the program.

In the live broadcast, Lee Chae Min, the co-host of her, said, “Jang Won Young, I have always thought you were pretty, but seeing you today, you are much prettier, I will remember you forever. Won Young was the best host of Music Bank.”

Hearing this, Jang Won Young expressed her gratitude and said, “Thank you very much”. 

Following the announcement of the 1st place winner of the week, the production team of “Music Bank” presented Jang Won Young with a bouquet of flowers and a trophy, while audiences who participated in the event held a slogan event with the phrase “Good work, Music Bank MC Won Young.”

Upon receiving the trophy, Jang Won Young shed tears and expressed, “Thank you so much. I was so grateful to be with ‘Music Bank’ for a year and four months, and it was a happy memory for me too. Thank you to the PDs, artists, and Chae Min-nim who always brightened up my Fridays.”

Netizens who saw Jang Won Young cry left messages of encouragement such as, “I cried while watching that,” “Won Young had a hard time,” and “Won Young doesn’t usually cry, but she ended up crying after seeing that.” 

On the other hand, girl group IVE, to which Jang Won Young belongs, is scheduled to appear with the full lineup on the SBS entertainment program “Running Man”.
