Jang Na-ra appeared on the December 27th broadcast of tvN’s entertainment program “You Quiz on the Block” and told her love story with her husband.
When asked about her newlywed life, the actress shared, “I like it. We have similar personalities but we get along well. I feel like having a best friend at home. But he’s really cool”, showing affection for her husband.
Revealing that the first time she met her husband was at the filming site of the drama “VIP”, Jang Na-ra said, “He has big eyes, so it was burdensome to make eye contact with him and talk. But he had a great attitude and did his job well during the filming. I still remember that.” She added, “One day, I saw my husband talk to the main director and he smiled. I think he came into my heart that day. He’s good-looking by my standards. He’s actually more handsome in real life, like a handsome baby donkey”.
The actress then shared, “He was not interested in me at that time. I was like a hard-working and kind older sister to him”, surprising the MCs when adding that she did not show any emotion toward him until the end of the filming but confessed her feelings first.
Jang Na-ra confessed, “I wondered if there was any excuse to contact him after the shoot. My husband appeared in a photo taken by my company so I thought ‘This is it!’. I sent him the picture and asked how he was doing. I tried hard to find a common thing between us”, adding “I told him that I didn’t consider him a colleague and confessed that I liked him. As our love developed, we started talking about our relationship seriously and I thought he might propose soon”
She said, “I usually call him ‘Honey’”, adding that they share a cute hoppy of singing and dancing along to famous CF songs. Jang Na-ra’s exciting married life excited many viewers.
